Mahaguru (Grandmaster) Hamid Aditya bin Abdullah, born 1976 in Tanjung Belukang, is from a line of Silat practitioners dating back to the days when Silat Melayu was a skill used for matters of life and death.
He was bestowed the title Pendekar Radjo by his father after completing his discipleship training at the age of 17. Mahaguru Hamid is the only heir to the title Pendekar Radjo, which has been passed down through his family’s bloodline for generations.
Presently, he now has a small school in Tasik Berlimau where he trains and passes on his knowledge of Silat to his disciples, in the hopes of preserving the glory of what was once a renowned and feared form of martial arts.
